The Tandym Group is Hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) Near Denville, NJ

A medical services organization in New Jersey is looking to add a licensed Registered Nurse (RN) to join their growing team. In this role, the Registered Nurse (RN) will be responsible for providing the highest degree of quality nursing care and supervising daily nursing activities performed by LPNs, CNAs, and CHHAs. 
Responsibilities:

The Registered Nurse (RN) will:
  • Perform a nursing assessment on all residents upon admission
  • Develop a written plan of care for each resident upon admission
  • Continuously monitor and evaluate each resident’s physical and emotional status for changes
  • Provide medications and treatment to residents
  • Assist with physician rounds and notify Physicians of any changes or concerns in resident’s condition
  • Make nursing rounds on the unit and report any problems to the Unit Coordinator
  • Respond to emergency calls throughout the community
  • Complete all required documentation in an accurate and timely manner
  • Assist with assessments of residents and coordination of the residents’ plans of care
  • Perform other duties, as needed

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma / GED
  • Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
  • Valid NJ Registered Nurse (RN) license
  • CPR certification
Desired Skills:
  • 1 year of experience in Long Term Care and/or Sub-acute setting
  • Associate's and/or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
